Muffin tops are officially in. Spearheading the trend are Bake Shapes, a set of six silicone muffin topper molds and complementary non-stick cups. With Bake Shapes you can whip up a deluxe cupcake and/or muffin creation in three different designs. When your cupcake rises to the occasion, you’ll have a decorative dimple carefully crafted to create a culinary crater you can top off with your favorite filling.

Here’s how it works. First, prepare your muffin or cupcake mix and fill each cup to the rim. Place and snap the silicone mold on top to ensure a secure seal, then place Bake Shapes on a baking pan and slide right into the oven. Bake about 5 minutes longer than the indicated baking time, and when finished, allow your Bake Shapes to cool before removing the tops by pulling up the tab. Top with fresh fruit, jam, cream, butter, or serve plain.
